This is the first gin (that we know of) to use a ‘bouquet garni’. This method, borrowed from the kitchen, sees basil, sage and lavender wrapped in muslin and steeped into the spirit after the 1st distillation. Made by G&J distillers in Warrington, this is an exceptionally smooth London Dry-style gin, and best enjoyed with East Imperial Burma Tonic with a single basil leaf garnish.
