Established in 1826, Old Pulteney is one of the most northerly distilleries on the Scottish mainland, and are well-known for their maritime influenced spirit. Aged in both ex-bourbon and ex-sherry oak casks, this award-winning 15 Year Old is part of the core range from Old Pulteney. A sea salt nose is balanced nicely with toffee and coffee. Dried grapes add a touch of depth. The palate is has that sea salt but now with buttery biscuits and some green apple. A finish that reminds you of a spiced rum. Great dram to have on a rainy day!
