Created by the Barberi brothers in 1919 in Padua, this is now Italy’s number selling spirit. A 11% ABV makes it perfect for low ABV cocktails such as the Aperol Spritz, which is one of the most ordered cocktails in the world. Its distinct bright orange colour and orange and rhubarb flavour make for a delicious aperitif. From a soft gentle sweet nose of orange complex herbs and touches of vanilla, the palate opens up with more fruit and woody herbs, with slight saltiness as well. A long lasting bitter sweetness which makes it extremely thirst-quenching! Pairs perfectly with East Imperial Yuzu Lemonade.
