We use fine Spanish Oloroso wood and American oak to mature this rich, intriguingly fruity and robust oak expression, but there are many more reasons why this expression is special.

“Aged for 18 years in former oloroso sherry and bourbon casks, the mild aroma has a distinct, sherry-like dried apricot note. The palate is relatively dry, with hints of cocoa, leather, stone fruit and clove. Adding water coaxes out more vanilla sweetness and hints of citrus, exiting dry and spiced.”

“This was aged in a mixture of bourbon and oloroso sherry casks, followed by a final spell of marrying in wooden tuns. Dried fruits, dark chocolate, figs, and cinnamon on the nose. The palate yields rich caramel and toffee-apple notes, plus ginger, cloves, and medium sherry.
